Darius Movsessian Earlwood

Bio

Darius completed his Physiotherapy degree at Macquarie University after first studying exercise science, giving him a strong foundation in evidence-based musculoskeletal care, movement analysis, and rehabilitation.

He works with patients across all stages of injury and recovery, including those preparing for surgery and those recovering afterwards. Darius focuses on improving strength, movement, and confidence before surgery, and guiding patients through rehabilitation afterwards – helping to reduce pain and stiffness, restore movement, and safely rebuild strength so they can return to daily activities, work, and sport.

Darius has a particular interest in musculoskeletal injuries, persistent pain presentations, and rehabilitation following injury or surgery. He enjoys incorporating movement retraining and strength-based rehabilitation to help patients develop the confidence and capacity to stay active long term.

Outside the clinic, Darius enjoys staying active through mountain biking, soccer, and tennis. His own involvement in sport helps him understand the real-world balance between training, work, recovery, and injury – shaping his practical, goal-focused approach to physiotherapy.

Darius believes effective physiotherapy starts with understanding the underlying cause of a problem, not just the symptoms. He takes a collaborative approach to care, working closely with patients to address contributing factors through targeted treatment, education, and exercise to support long-term recovery.
